UITThis year, Urban Improvement Trust,Ajmer selected three places for stay of pilgrims and parking of vehicles. These places are as under:
1.Anasagar Vishram Sthali
2.Transport Nagar, Vishram Sthali
3.MDS University, Vishram Sthali
These all three vishram sthalies are maintained by Urban Improvement Trust, Ajmer. Following works is done by UIT, Ajmer.
1.Arrangement of drinking water, electric, telephone, toilets etc.
2.Arrangement temporary toilets.
3.Arrangement for Enquiry office & public address system at Vishram Sthali.
4.Arrangement for Parking vehicles, and instruction boards for pilgrims.
5.Arrangement for Cultural programme at Vishram Sthali. |
Nagar Nigam, Ajmer
1.Removal of stray cattle’s from mela area.
2.Special Arrangements for Friday’s prayer regarding control over stray cattle’s and over pigs specially.
3.Removal of temporary encroachments from Mela area.
4.Repairing of drains, roads.
5.Arrangements for temporary toilets.
6.Temporary arrangements for Safaiwalas ( Sweepers)
7.Barricading from Delhi Gate to Dargah Bazar upto Nizam Gate.
8.Arrangements for extra electric light.
9.Arrangements for Administrative Camp at Moti Katla Chowk, Bus Stand and Railway Station for Medical Camp.
10.Arrangements for three drop gates from Delhi Gate to Nizam Gate. |
Health Department
1.Sprinkling of DDT in mela area regularly and.after mela it should be continued for several days.
2.Opening of temporary medical dispensaries at least 12 at various places in Ajmer i.e. at Railway Station, Bus Stand,all Vishram sthalies,Dargah premises.These medical dispensaries running round the clock.
3.Inspection of eatable items and appointment of an food inspector.
4.Opening of private medical stores at all Vishram Sthalies. |
Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation
1.Arrangements for extra 125 buses from Ajmer to various cities for pilgrims.
2.Arrangements for extra drinking water, toilets at roadways bus stand.
3.Arrangements for at least 15 buses to carry pilgrims from Vishram Sthlaies.
4.Publicity of buses time table.
5.Arrangements for extra booking counter at Mela area. |
Police Department
1.Deputation of express and mobile vehicles on highway to avoid any accident.
2.Arrangements for a crane to pick up vehicles.
3.Arrangement of barricading in Dargah Sharif at Begmi Dalan and Payanti Gate.
4.Microphone arrangements in Mehfil Khana, Dargah Sharif.
5.Arrangement of Police and make way for Dargah Deewan for Astana Sharif at Qul Sharif Ceremony.
6.Keep keen sight over pickpocketers. |
Railways
1.Arrangement for extra trains during Urs fair and make publicity.
2.Arrangement for Daily and Mela special trains during Urs fair.
3.Arrangements for safai work at Station.
4.Arrangement for Opening of extra booking counter at Mela area.

1.Make arrangement for uninterrupted electric supply during urs in mela area.

1.Arrangemnets for city buses and fixing of rent.
2.Fixing of rates of tempo, auto rickshaw, tongas etc. and display it on various public places.

1.Supply of water two times in mela area and three times in a day during Friday prayers.
2.Repairing of hand pumps in mela area before Urs.
3.Providing water connection to Sulabh Complex .

Dargah Committee
1.Providing free electricity supply in Dargah premises round the clock.
2.Providing free drinking water in Dargah premises.
3.Arrangement of generators in Dargah premises for electricity supply.
4.Arrangement for Close Circuit TV in Dargah premises to keep a keen sight over bad elements and pickpocketers.
5.Publicity of moon visibility of Urs.
6.Providing space for city booking office for railways and roadways near Dargah premises.
7.Providing space for STD Booths near Dargah Premises.
8.Providing space for Dispensaries in Dargah premises.
9.Arrangement of Public Address System in Dargah and Mela Area.
10.Make Law & Order within Dargah premises with the help of Distt. Administration and Distt. Police Deptt.
11.Removal of all types of encroachments within Dargah premises.
12.Publicity of all programmes related to Urs Khwaja Saheb.(R.A.)
13.Arrangements of Volunteers in Dargah premises.
14.Burial of unclaimed dead bodies.
15.Supply of Langar free of cost.

1.Opening of ration shops within mela area and providing kerosene, fire wood, coal in mela area.
2.Providing food packets on concessional rates.
3.Providing Gas cylinder to pilgrims on concessional rates. |
